BIG MAHALO's to our

generous Donors

The Atherton Family Foundation

We greatly appreciate the Atherton Family Foundation who have been extremely supportive and generous to the

Dana Anne Yee Foundation from the very start of our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Through the Atherton Family Foundation's grant we have been able to survey for invasive insect pest species on the islands of O‘ahu, Maui, Hawai‘i, Lana`i, and Moloka`i.  We have been able to record many new insect species to our islands to help to keep our Hawai‘i green.

Our Green Industry and Partners

The "Green Industry” and private partners have reached out to support our Foundation's work for our islands. The generosity of the O'ahu Nursery Growers Association (ONGA), Scenic Hawai'i, Inc., Karen Li (NY), Leslie Dean (CA), Chris and Cheryl Dacus, Dawn Easterday, Maile and Ronald Goo, Jacque Law, Richard Quinn, Derek and Angela Yee, Harry and Jeannie Yee, Tricia Yee, Trophy House, the Landscape Association of Hawai'i, Beachside Lighting, Kaua'i, Nursery and Landscaping, and the Dana Anne Yee Foundation have provided valuable learning tools for our keiki, the kupuna of the University of Hawai'i O'ahu Urban Garden Center, and all of Hawai‘i.

The donations have helped to support our foundation's goal to keep our Hawai'i, Green.  The donations have also helped to purchase and fill drawers with insects in two steel insect research learning cabinets for University of Hawai'i O'ahu Urban Garden Center. The drawers are filled with invasive insect species that can be seen and studied to help to educate the public about insect specimens and how to identify them. Future funding will be used to help in the early detection and identification of many other insect species.
