The Dedication of the Insect Learning and Research Cabinets at the University of Hawaii Urban Garden Center on October 8, 2016 at 10:00 AM.  It took place during the 2nd Saturday Plant Sale and the Urban Gardens.

Dana Anne Yee designed the interior "Splash" garden for the Landscape Industry Council of Hawai‘i (LICH) 15th Annual Green Industry Conference and Trade Show at Neal Blasidell Center.  Many members of Hawai‘i's green industry provided the plants, materials, and hard work for this beautiful interactive garden.

A beautiful day of teaching our keiki and community about Early Detection of Newly Arrived Insect Species to Hawai‘i, with the O‘ahu Nursery Growers Association sharing this educational day.  Our informational table was filled with examples of insects live and pinned, to educate the public about the Early Detection of Invasive Insect Pest Species.
